I look at my love one last time before he gets on the horrible, gross, saddening war bus. He told me not to worry about him, how could I not? Going to World War One isn't the most safest thing to do, but I guess they needed him. When I look at him sit on the bus and lay his head against the cold window I began to cry. I do not think he should be there. That man is strong, but he isn't war material. Am I just telling myself this because I do not want him gone? I guess so, but he is my love, and he does't know about the baby on the way. I didn't want him to be going to war and worrying about the baby and go off and hurt himself... January 23rd
